Structure and principle of the Delong new M3000 air storage tank.

-Structure: The Delong new M3000 adopts a dual-circuit air braking system. The entire vehicle air system consists of an air source, front axle braking system, entire vehicle air system, front axle braking circuit, (middle) rear axle braking circuit, parking brake circuit, and auxiliary air circuit.

-Working principle: Driven by the engine, the air compressor compresses air. After drying and pressure regulation by the air dryer, the high-pressure gas is divided into four circuits by the four-circuit protection valve, providing air sources for the braking system, etc.

-Function and role

-Storing compressed air: Provides a stable air source for the braking system, clutch system, etc., ensuring the normal operation of these systems. During braking, the compressed air in the air storage tank pushes the brake air chamber, enabling vehicle braking.

-Ensuring braking reliability: When the air pressure in the entire vehicle is low, the four-circuit protection valve with a one-way valve prioritizes inflation of the front and rear axle brake air storage tanks, shortening the inflation time and ensuring reliable braking.
