The SCR silencer 7438 is a component used in the exhaust system of diesel engines. Its main function is to reduce exhaust noise and purify exhaust gases, specifically as follows:

- Reduce exhaust noise: Through the internal silencing structure, such as silencers and silencing plates, the high-speed airflow discharged from the engine is buffered and noise-reduced, reducing the impact of exhaust noise on the environment and occupants.

- Purify exhaust gas: Using selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology, under the action of a catalyst, the reducing agent (usually ammonia gas, generated by the decomposition of urea aqueous solution) reduces nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2) in the exhaust gas into nitrogen gas (N2) and water (H2O) at 290-400℃, effectively reducing the content of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas and meeting environmental emission standards.
