Aluminum alloy air storage tank It is a key component in the trailer air brake system, with the following main functions:
1. Store compressed air
As a storage container for compressed air, it temporarily stores the compressed air produced by the air compressor, ensuring that the system always maintains sufficient air pressure (usually 0.7-0.8 MPa) to provide a stable air source for the trailer's braking, parking, and other pneumatic devices.
2. Stabilize air pressure and buffer
It alleviates fluctuations in the air compressor's output air pressure, reduces air pulsation in the pipeline, ensures stable air brake system pressure, and prevents sudden pressure changes from affecting braking performance.
3. Separate water and impurities
Compressed air contains water and a small amount of impurities. The internal structure of the air storage tank (such as the drain valve at the bottom) can precipitate some water and impurities, reducing their entry into the brake valve, brake chamber, and other precision components, extending the system's lifespan, and preventing ice formation (especially in low-temperature environments) from affecting braking.
