Fuel tank - 167-KVA-590
I. Core Role
1. Storing Fuel "This is the fundamental function of the fuel tank—its volume, designed differently depending on the vehicle model, directly determines the car's range."
2. Stable Fuel Supply: Through a built-in or external fuel pump, the fuel is filtered and then continuously and steadily delivered to the engine's combustion chamber, meeting the fuel demands of various engine operating conditions (idling, acceleration, high speed).
3. Protection and Accessibility Features :
- Heat dissipation : By utilizing the fuel tank casing and ventilation system, heat generated during fuel circulation is dissipated, preventing excessive oil temperatures that could impair fuel performance.
- Sedimentation filtration : Some fuel tanks are designed with sediment traps at the bottom, which allow impurities in the fuel—such as dust and moisture—to settle, thereby reducing wear on the fuel pump and injectors.
- Leak-proof / Explosion-proof : Utilizing oil- and corrosion-resistant materials (such as engineering plastics and steel plates), some models are equipped with explosion-proof valves and wave-damping plates (to minimize fuel sloshing), enhancing operational stability.
