Function and Role
- Energy Storage: Stores sufficient compressed air to provide a stable air source for vehicle braking systems, air horns, and other pneumatic equipment, ensuring their normal operation.
- Filtration: After entering the air tank, dust and moisture settle to the bottom of the tank due to gravity, providing preliminary filtration of the compressed air, reducing impurities entering the pneumatic system, and protecting pneumatic equipment.
- Pressure Stabilization: The compressed air pressure output by the air compressor is unstable. The air tank can buffer and stabilize the pressure, making the output compressed air pressure stable and ensuring the stable operation of pneumatic equipment.
- Cooling: After being compressed by the air compressor, the ambient air temperature rises. The air tank allows the compressed air to stay inside and cool down, making the moisture in the air easier to settle and improving the quality of the compressed air.
