This ensures that these components receive sufficient air pressure promptly when needed, guaranteeing smooth and reliable vehicle operation. - Filtration: The tank acts as a preliminary filter, trapping impurities like moisture, dust, and oil contaminants from the compressed air. By preventing these particles from entering downstream air circuit components, it reduces wear and tear on parts, minimizes the risk of malfunctions, and ultimately extends the lifespan of the entire air system. - Pressure Stabilization: Since the air pressure output by the compressor can fluctuate, the tank’s large volume helps buffer these variations, delivering a more consistent and steady air supply.
