- Energy Storage: It stores compressed air generated by the air compressor, providing a stable air supply to vehicle systems such as the braking system (including service and parking brakes), pneumatic clutches, and air horns. This ensures that these components receive sufficient air pressure promptly when needed, guaranteeing smooth and reliable vehicle operation.
- Filtration: The tank acts as a preliminary filter, trapping impurities like moisture, dust, and oil contaminants from the compressed air.
